Kremlin: Russia to retaliate against Schengen visa prohibition

MOSCOW, Aug 30 (PRIME) -- Russia will retaliate if the E.U. forbids the issue of Schengen visas for its citizens, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

"This is a very serious decision, which may be targeted directly against our citizens, and we cannot leave this unanswered by definition, this is clear," Peskov said.

The E.U. foreign ministers may discuss the prohibition on Tuesday. Germany and France stood against the measure.
